The Seed
“Then Elisha died and they buried him. And the raiding bands from MOAB invaded the land in the spring of the year. So it was as they were burying a man, that suddenly they spied a band of raiders: and they put the man in the tomb of Elisha; and when the man was let down and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet.” 2 Kings 13:20-21
God turned around all things for the good of the dead man using the sudden appearance of the raiders. The man was not expected to live again, his family and friends thought his chapter had closed and the best favour they could do for him was to bury him, in fact the raiders unexpected appearance would have seemed negative to them, what they thought was their best plan for the dead man could not be achieved because God’s best plan for him was to live and not to be buried, so God had to interrupt them for His divine plan to be achieved. Has anyone promised you their best help and at the verge of fulfillment a disruption occurred? Instead of thinking that it’s the devil at work, why don’t you believe that God is at work to bring His own best to fulfillment in your life. As a child of God you must believe that God is able to use any situation (whether good or bad) to take you to your next level. May the Lord use the unexpected to turn things around for your good in Jesus name.
