I WILL GIVE THANKS

THE SEED

“I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.” Psalms 9:1-2 NIV

The above scripture is the words of King David when he lost a son. This establishes the fact that giving thanks to God is not conditional but an act to be performed at all times even when things and situations with us are not going on as expected. In expectations and when passing through the fire and rivers of life, in great challenges of sickness, losses of loved ones and jobs. The name of God must be praised by His Children, knowing with an understanding that God knows and has reasons for allowing such in our lives. Giving thanks to God always is a habit that should be cultivated and practised by all Christians. The Psalmist gave thanks to God further in verses 3-6 on past victories. Appreciating God for past victories and breakthroughs is an assured key to opening the door to victory in our present or future challenges.
