THE SEED
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty”. Psalm 91:1(KJV)
God keeps watch over us every moment because every day is full of evil, it’s only God that helps to redeem them. Despite carelessness caused by our sin or the sin of others, God still make provision through His mercy to prevent evil or destruction from coming our way. Psalm 91:1 offers a comforting image of dwelling in the secret place of the Most High, finding refuge under the shadow of the Almighty. It speaks of an intimate connection with God, a place where we can rest securely in His presence. As we reflect on this verse, it brings to mind another reassuring passage. Psalm 46 reassures us of God’s refuge place and the unfailing presence that gives us protection in times of trouble or need. These scriptures express a powerful message of God’s protection and companionship. They encourage us not merely to visit but to abide and make our home in the shelter of His presence. In the hustle of life’s uncertainties, these verses remind us that we have a refuge, a secret place with God where we can find solace and safety. Whether we walk through challenging valleys or rest in peaceful moments, the shadow of the Almighty is our constant covering. In this dwelling, we discover a feeling of true security, knowing that we are under the protective and loving care of our Almighty God who is the protector of our souls and watchman over our spirits.
