GOD OF RESTORATION

THE SEED

I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten… Joel 2: 25 NIV

In life, there are “locusts” that tear through the life of a Christian. Is there anything that brought devastation to your life? Sickness in your life or your loved ones, fire, flood, divorce, robbery attack, rape attack, loss of income etc? In a dreadful situation, a beautiful world will be like a collapsing wall to you, and you will feel as if to hide away under a big rock until the problem has passed. Yes, you can hide, but only in the shadow of His wings, according to Psalm 57:1. God is the Restorer, and He promised that as a creator of the universe, He will restore health, relationships, family, and finances. He can meet you individually and cast your anxiety on Him as He cares for you. Open your heart, keep praying, and hold on to the Restorer and the one who gives all from the depths of His treasury. It may be difficult to concentrate in prayer when wrapped up in misery; use the spiritual resources available, such as Psalms, hymns in your songbooks and other soul-lifting recitals to strengthen yourself against further devastation. Psalm 57: 2 talks about God, who accomplishes everything for me, and mentions songs and praises. He will consider your dependence on Him, your songs of praises and other things, and return your fruitfulness to bring a long time gain to you like Job. Be patient while He is doing it.
