THIS WORLD IS VANITY

THE SEED

Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher, vanity of vanities, all is vanity  Ecclesiastes. 1: 2(KJV)

How sad can it be for a man to believe they own the world, Some even have the mindset that they will be on Earth forever and acquire everything as theirs, forgetting that we have come to this world for a while and we must leave one day taking nothing with us. Look at this story of a man, to whom God had given riches, wealth and honour, to the extent of having all his Heart desires settled, yet does not have the opportunity to enjoy all that he had but died untimely, which will not be our portion, it was strangers that took over all he had worked tirelessly for! Is the world not a vanity? Do we usually ask ourselves what our gain is in this world? We will work and work to climb the ladder of success, we will be known everywhere, our names will be written and mentioned everywhere and at the end of the day, it is dust for dust! Out of all our wealthy belongings which one would they bury with us, NONE! Even our last home, the casket, the size cannot allow anything aside from our body, the only thing moving on with us is our “deeds” whether they be good or bad. So the best thing for us is to take this life easy, be patient, be tolerant, love your neighbours, do not Covet, be satisfied with whatever you have, eat well from the works of your hand, rest, serve God and FEAR Him who can destroy, both soul and body that can even send them to hell.

BIBLE READINGS:  Ecclesiastes 3: 9 – 14

PRAYER: Father grant me Grace to be with you in Heaven, for this world is just Vanity. Amen.
