FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT

THE SEED

“But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance, against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23(KJV).

Fruit of the spirit refers to the gift of the Holy Spirit. The fruit of the spirit are the beautiful virtues that distinguished true children of God from the unbelievers. It also enabled them to bear more fruits and this increased their relationship with God. A life filled with the spirit of God will attract people to God. Those who lived according to Christ are led by the spirit and no longer by their fleshly desires. The Holy Spirit will allow us to listen and act on the will of God rather than our desires, When we put our faith and trust in God he will give us the Holy Spirit. He said in His word that “He is the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.  If a man abides not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned”.
