THE SEED
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” Philippians 4:13 NKJV
Apostle Paul, in this verse, widened our understanding that we can have victory in any circumstance and attain success in all our endeavours by relying on Christ and His strength. Before I gave my life to Christ, I was seriously in need of admission to higher institutions. Even though I was going to church, attended youth programs, went to mountain prayers with other youths, fasted and prayed, yet, I didn’t have my request. After five years of seeking admission, I wasn’t given, so I gave up. However, in 2021 a friend of mine invited me to a church program in Jerusalem Church of the Lord International. It was in this program that I met Christ and I gave my life to Jesus. I listened to the testimonies shared by people of God and my hope in God was strengthened. I began to wonder how God works because I never thought Christ could work like that, after some months of a new life in Christ, I gained entry to the Polytechnic to study Mass Communication! it was like a dream. Huh? To my astonishment, God arranged for my tuition fees to be paid by my godmother and my family. As Christians, one of our marks is extraordinary things happening to us and through us, which will make people around us marvel. When we give our lives to Jesus we will experience a great turnaround in our situations because we no more do things by ourselves but through Christ.

Mo bẹrẹ si ṣe iyalẹnu bi Ọlọrun ṣe n ṣiṣẹ nitori Emi ko ro pe Kristi le ṣiṣẹ beyẹn. Lehin oṣu diẹ ti igbesi aye tuntun ninu Kristi, Mo wọle si Polytechnic lati kawe Mass Communication! o dabi ala. Si iyalenu mi Ọlorun lo ìyá mi nínú Oluwa àti ìdílé mi lati san owó ilé ẹ̀ko mi. Gege bí Kristẹni, ọ̀kan lára àwọn àmì wa je ohun àrà ọ̀tọ̀ tó ń ṣẹlẹ̀ sí wa àti nípasẹ̀ wa, ki eni ya awon èèyàn tó yí wa ká. Nigba ti a ba fi aye wa fun Jesu a o ni iriri iyipada nla ninu aye wa nitori a ko ṣe awọn ohun ti ara wa mọ bikoṣe nipasẹ Kristi.
