REFLECT ON GOD’S FAITHFULNESS

THE SEED

”Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.“ Psalm 6:5 ESV

As we approach the close of this year, it’s proper to reflect on the faithfulness of God in our journey. For some moment today, let’s just go through memory lane in our minds to visualise the mighty deeds of the Lord in giving us victory over sin, victory over life challenges and attacks of the enemy, for His divine provisions and for promotions and breakthroughs. In truth, we can boldly say that God’s faithfulness is boundless. His faithfulness extends to the heavens, yes it does! God’s faithfulness comes with different newness every day; how awesome you are oh God! Despite our shortcomings and unwillingness at times, He never changes His mind on us, the thought that God is with us in the journey has made a whole lot of positive difference to how we navigate through it all. Even though the enemy had planned failure, untimely death, shame and unfruitfulness for us in the year, the faithfulness of God has turned our cry to a shout of joy and all unfruitfulness into rewarding harvest. God turned all evil plans meant to hurt us to stepping stones to take us to fulfil His beautiful plans for our life. We have encountered the God that abounds in steadfast love and faithfulness. Let us not lose our focus on Him as we depend on Him and take refuge in the shadow of His wings.
