GOD’S STRENGTH IN WEAKNESS

THE SEED

”And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”  II Corinthians 12:9-10 NKJV

In the opening verses, Apostle Paul reminds us that our weaknesses serve as opportunities for God to display His power and grace in our lives. When we acknowledge our limitations and surrender our inadequacies to Him, He steps in with His divine strength to carry us through. Our weaknesses become platforms for God’s glory to be revealed, demonstrating His faithfulness and provision. In the book of Judges chapter 6, Gideon was chosen by God to lead the Israelites against their oppressors, the Midianites. Despite feeling inadequate and fearful, Gideon trusted in God’s promise and followed His guidance. With only 300 men, Gideon defeated the numerous Midianite army, this victory showcases how God’s strength prevails even in the face of overwhelming situations. Similarly, in our own lives, God equips us to overcome obstacles and accomplish His purposes, not through our strength, but through His. When we rely on Him wholeheartedly, He empowers us to endure trials, conquer challenges, and fulfil His calling for our lives. Beloved, we should always embrace our weaknesses as opportunities for God to demonstrate His strength. As we lean on Him in faith, He will carry us through every trial and empower us to fulfil His purposes.
