TENACITY DURING TRIALS

THE SEED

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations, knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience”. James 1:2

God permits trials in the life of a believer because He intends to use it as a tool to enable His children to become better Christians. The trials ultimately refine them and draw God’s children nearer to Him. Raw gold passes through fire and various harsh treatments to become more beautiful and useful. Trials transform a child of God into a more wonderful and better vessel fit for use by our Lord Jesus. A better vessel of God will be a shining light that will draw people from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of light. This is because the lifestyle and testimony of the child of God will demonstrate to the unbelievers that God can deliver, bless and transform their lives positively when they surrender to Him and remain in Him. During our trial period as believers, we must be assured of God’s unfailing love and know that its objective is to make us better in every way. We must stand firm in our faith and be patient while looking forward to a glorious future in Christ who can do all things according to His will at all times.

BIBLE READING: James 1: 2-5.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I pray for the grace to stand firm in you even during my trials. Amen
