IF YOU WILL

THE SEED

‘But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul’. Deuteronomy 4: 29 KJV

As children of God, there are some rules that He wants us to abide by. He expects us to receive direction and guidance from His word that will take us to the next phase of our lives. God demands that we gradually give up the things we used to do, and even the behaviours we might consider little, but can affect us. They include; anger, speaking without love, not being grateful enough, partial obedience, worrying, gossiping and envy, among other things the Holy Spirit starts to orientate us on. Anything could be the case; we already know what the Holy Spirit is telling us to avoid doing, and we also know what He tells us to continue doing as Christians. We are aware of what the Holy Spirit is urging us to cease doing, so we must distance ourselves from them entirely, regardless of how minor we may think they are. For the ones He commands us to continue doing; humbly seek His assistance and offer up fervent prayers. God is ready to support us even when things are difficult. But whether we receive instructions from sermons, bible studies, prophecy through His vessels, or even just from our daily devotions and quiet time, we should try to incorporate these into our lives.

BIBLE READING: Isaiah 58: 7-11

PRAYER: Oh Lord, give me grace to work following your will for me, in Jesus name. Amen.
