HOW TO MANAGE YOURSELF IN PERILOUS TIMES

HOW TO MANAGE YOURSELF IN PERILOUS TIMES

THE SEED

“Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone” 2 Timothy 3: 8-9

Some people increasingly use technology to improve their careers, support evangelism, and promote their businesses. On the other hand, some people use it as a weapon of destruction (of good things, services and people) and to channel evil practices. Many people show less regard for moral and spiritual things. Mockers and comedians mix their practices with spiritual words. If invited to the church for entertainment, they make fun of the sacredness of God at the altar. Many social media platforms are flooded with countless videos of people going into spirits, church leaders accusing themselves, flagrant displays of wealth and of how to make money in church, etc. How do you manage yourself? With better insights, you can take control of your thoughts and actions. As an organiser of crusades to win souls for Christ, be spirit-led to invite spirit-filled artistes for ministrations, inclined towards saving souls. Many of these things may not necessarily look fetish in presentation. Still, the bible warns us to abstain from all appearances of evil. Take an understanding of what to do in perilous times from the bible, Verses 14-17 mention the importance of learning and linking it to the person you are learning from; most importantly, let the words teach, rebuke, correct and train you in righteousness. Psalm 19:7-9 shows the importance of the Word of God, such as “the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the soul”. You cannot claim to be ignorant, if you know the best way to manage yourself.

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, help me to discern between good and bad amongst the people who profess to believe in you.
