LET GOD LEAD
THE SEED
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths” Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV
Letting God take the lead is so important, since we only see and know the present, we don’t see the future to know what it entails. But including God in our plans gives a feeling of satisfaction knowing that He is in control and if it is not the right thing to do at that time, God will put us through. And the rest is sure to go on smoothly even though it’s not the way we have planned it to be. Before leaving the house to various places that we go to every day, we should commit the day to God’s hand and ask him to take the lead. When planning something, taking decisions or not knowing what steps to take, we should ask for God’s direction. His decision is always the right one for us because he sees the future and knows what we do not know. He knows what is best for His children. Allowing God to take the lead, yields better results than when we try to do things our way. Letting God lead energises our trust and faith in God, it helps us to trust Him more. It’s more like a child who depends on his parents for various things. That child trusts his parents and knows that they only want the right thing for him, so whenever they instruct him to do anything, he does it. As Christians, we should make God the bedrock of our plans. We should pray for God to put us through and help us when we are confused and don’t know what to do, and even if we are so sure of what we are doing, God’s opinion still matters.
