TESTIMONY OF SALVATION

TESTIMONY OF SALVATION

THE SEED

“And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house because he also is a son of Abraham; for the son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19: 9-10 NKJV

In the Bible reading, Jesus affirmed Zaccheus’ new status and what he represented. Do you enable salvation to come to your house? There are many examples of individuals in the bible that had a divine encounter with God, and they invited their families to join in worshipping God. We read about Peter, Cornelius, Lydia, Timothy, to mention a few, taking the good news home to their families. Our salvation testimony can be beneficial to our family, although some people only share testimonies of how they made money, business, wealth, or promotion without the testimony of salvation. Zacchaeus met Christ, who told him that “salvation has come to his house today.” Many people nowadays receive salvation and pardon from sin. Yet, they do not share the testimony with families; they prefer to hide it away. Sometimes, it could be because they are ashamed to let their families know that they just became born again. Perhaps they have been seen as churchgoers, and they are not so bold to declare at home that “I have just given my life to Christ”. Such a person needs to remember that God does not condemn anyone who comes to Him, as He has no pleasure in the death of a wicked person. Consider your testimony, do you love others and want them to be saved too? If yes, please take the story of your salvation home. Let your family hear of the love of Christ. Do not be a barrier to others hearing the good news.

PRAYER: Lord, enable me to be a facilitator and a messenger of your saving grace to my household.
