WE ARE CALLED TO EVANGELIZE

WE ARE CALLED TO EVANGELIZE
THE SEED
“And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.’“ Mark 16:15 (NKJV)

Evangelism is the act of sharing the Gospel—the good news of Jesus Christ—with others, inviting them to faith and discipleship. It involves proclaiming salvation through Jesus and encouraging people to respond. Effective evangelism often begins with building relationships and trust. By sharing personal testimonies, and experiences, and showing genuine care for others, we create opportunities to present the Gospel clearly and meaningfully. Jesus’ Ministry serves as the perfect example of evangelism, as He engaged with both individuals and large crowds, often using parables and stories to convey His message. His Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) emphasizes the call to spread the Gospel to all nations. Evangelism is not just about leading others to Christ; it also strengthens our faith and deepens our understanding of God’s love and grace. As we share the Gospel, we experience personal transformation and spiritual growth. A remarkable example of evangelism is Philip, one of the seven deacons chosen by the early church. Philip boldly shared the Gospel with diverse groups, including the Ethiopian eunuch and the Samaritans. His ability to adapt his approach to his audience was extraordinary. With the Ethiopian eunuch, Philip explained the Scriptures so clearly that the eunuch requested baptism, symbolizing his new life in Christ. In Samaria, Philip’s preaching led many to believe and be baptized, resulting in the growth of the church.
