PERSONAL ENCOUNTER WITH GOD

PERSONAL ENCOUNTER WITH GOD
THE SEED
“Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double-minded.”James 4:8 (KJV)

A personal encounter with God is a life-changing experience that brings us to a deeper understanding of who He is as expressed in James 4:8. Such encounters are initiated through prayer and meditation on God’s Word. Prayer opens the door for God to reveal Himself and show us great and mighty things. To have a personal encounter, we must open our hearts and receive God’s presence, which already dwells within us. The story of Saul’s encounter with God is a powerful example. On his way to Damascus to persecute Christians, Saul was struck by a great light from heaven. Blinded for three days, he fasted and sought God. That encounter led to his transformation, and he became Paul, a vessel for God’s work. Encounter with God can lead to healing, deliverance, or salvation. They transform lives, giving direction and purpose like no other experience. Seek God today, and allow Him to transform your life through a divine encounter.

BIBLE READING: John 4:4–42
PRAYER: Father, let me have a divine encounter with You that will transform my vision and direction in Jesus’ name, Amen.
