VESSEL UNTO HONOUR
THE SEED
“If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.” 2Timothy 2:21
A vessel of honour is someone God has chosen to glorify His name. Every human being is a potential vessel of God, but to be a vessel of honour, you must be willing to surrender fully to Him. Those who allow God to work in and through them experience spiritual renewal and strength for the journey of faith. To be a vessel of honour, purity is essential. Keep your body, heart, and spirit pure. Avoid anything that defiles you physically or spiritually. Also, be spiritually minded, do not let your flesh control you. Instead, seek God’s direction daily and exemplify Christ, let your life reflect God’s character so that others see His glory in you. Remember that your body is God’s temple; therefore, strive to live in holiness and obedience. A vessel of honour lives to serve, remains humble, and puts God first in all things. This commitment makes you usable for His purposes and prepares you for every good work.
