THE MORAL BENEFITS OF WISDOM

THE MORAL BENEFITS OF WISDOM

THE SEED
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom: and with all thy getting, get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7 KJV

Wisdom, especially heavenly wisdom, shapes our lives and guides us in righteousness. There are two kinds of wisdom: earthly and heavenly. Earthly wisdom relies on human reasoning and is often limited or flawed. It might come from books, opinions, or other sources of knowledge. On the other hand, heavenly wisdom comes from God, leading to eternal benefits and guiding us in truth. The Scripture provides examples of those who walked in God’s wisdom. Solomon, for instance, asked for wisdom to govern God’s people and God released it upon him so much that none could withstand his wisdom in his time. Also, Joseph displayed wisdom by allowing the fear of God to rule his life. The Bible rightly says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. He committed to pleasing God rather than man. Heavenly wisdom enriches our lives spiritually, morally, and practically. It strengthens our relationship with God, gives us discernment, and helps us align our lives with His purpose. To receive this wisdom, we must pray, as the Bible encourages, study and meditate on God’s Word. By seeking heavenly wisdom, we draw closer to God and experience His guidance in every decision, ensuring a life that reflects His glory.
