THE SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF YOUR HOME
THE SEED
“But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” – Joshua 24:15
Joshua 24:15 declares that a spiritually thriving home begins with a commitment to God, fostering faith, love, and unity among its members. A home is not just a dwelling but a sanctuary where Christ resides. Joshua challenged the Israelites to decide whom they would serve, emphasizing the importance of a family’s spiritual foundation. For spiritual growth to flourish in a home, there must be a shared vision, strong faith, and harmonious relationships. In today’s world, distractions such as wealth, pride, social media and worries often create barriers to spiritual growth in families. However, families can reclaim their spiritual foundations through prayer and intentional action. Nehemiah’s story (Nehemiah 1:4-11) demonstrates how prayer and determination can restore what is broken. A spiritually strong home is built on faith, observing daily morning and evening devotion to pray and study God’s Word together in unity. Through these practices, families can overcome challenges and grow closer to God, ensuring that their household remains a place where Christ is glorified.
