DWELLING IN GOD’S LOVE
THE SEED
“Though I speak with the tongues of men and angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.”— 1 Corinthians 13:1 (KJV)
To dwell means to reside permanently. Love should not be just a fleeting emotion but a constant presence in our lives. True love is more than words—it is demonstrated through action. The Bible tells us that whosoever is blessed to provide for others’ needs but refused to do so has no compassion, and such can not claim to have the love of Christ in them.
Genuine love is shown through kindness, generosity, and compassion for others. It is easy to say we love God, but if we despise our neighbors, we are deceiving ourselves. Jesus made it clear that when we care for others—feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and sheltering the homeless—we are doing it for Him. Love is the foundation of true Christianity, more important than spiritual gifts or talents. Without love, our actions are meaningless.

PRAYER: Lord, fill my heart with genuine love for others. Help me to reflect Your love in my actions and interactions. Amen.
