GOD’S TIMING IS PRECISE THE SEED

GOD’S TIMING IS PRECISE THE SEED

“In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was on the earth forty days and forty nights.” Genesis 7:11-12 (NKJV)

The Bible gives exact details about when the flood began, down to the year, month, and day. This reminds us that God works according to a divine timetable. Sometimes, we may feel like His promises are delayed, but just as the flood came at the appointed time, so will His word be fulfilled in our lives. If you’re facing unmet expectations or plans that seem off course, do not be dismayed.

God’s delays are never due to forgetfulness; they are part of His preparation. Just as Noah had to wait patiently for God’s timing, so did many others in Scripture. Abraham and Sarah waited for decades for the promised child; yet, “at the set time of which God had spoken,” Isaac was born; Elizabeth and Zechariah had likely given up hope of having children, yet the angel declared, “Your prayer is heard”, and Elizabeth conceived in her old age.

Hannah endured years of barrenness and sorrow, but in due time, the Lord remembered her, and she gave birth to Samuel. Each of these stories reminds us that divine delays are never empty; they are filled with purpose. Every season in our lives is directed with divine intention. Though it may feel silent or stagnant, heaven is never inactive. Behind the scenes, God is aligning events, preparing hearts, and setting the stage for His perfect will to unfold. When we choose to walk by faith and not by sight, we begin to understand that divine delays often lead to far greater outcomes than we could imagine. The same God who remembered Noah in the ark, Abraham in his waiting, Elizabeth in her old age, and Hannah in her tears will remember us too. Let’s hold fast to His promises, for at the appointed time, they will surely come to pass. God’s timing is never random; it is always precise.

PRAYER: Lord, strengthen my faith, even when others doubt, and keep me steadfast in my walk with You. Help me to trust Your timing and not lose heart in Jesus’ name, Amen.
