CALLED TO LIVE A SACRIFICIAL LIFE

THE SEED
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable
service.” — Romans 12:1 (NKJV)

The call to live a sacrificial life is at the heart of true discipleship. It is a life that places God’s will above personal comfort, choosing obedience over convenience. To offer ourselves as a living sacrifice means surrendering our desires, preferences, and ambitions to the One who gave everything for us.
Jesus set the ultimate example of sacrificial living, laying down His life for the redemption of the world. His love was not passive, but active, demonstrated through the cross. In the same way, our worship is not just in our words, but in our willingness to live for Him daily. Living sacrificially may cost us something: time, comfort, resources, or even relationships, but it also positions us to
experience the fullness of God’s purpose. It is a life that seeks not just to receive, but to give; not just to be blessed, but to be a blessing.

BIBLE READING: Luke 9:23-26
PRAYER: Lord, help me to live a sacrificial life, fully surrendered to Your will. Let my life be a reflection of Your love and a living testimony of Your grace in Jesus name, Amen.
