THE SEED
“Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be.” Job 8:7 (NIV)
The final day of the year is not merely an ending; it’s also an entry. A time to look back with wisdom and look ahead with faith. Job 8:7 reminds us that God is a God of increase, growth, and forward movement. Even if the year began with uncertainties, losses, or humble beginnings, God promises a future filled with purpose and prosperity in Him. Crossing over into a new year is not just a date change; it is an opportunity to step into renewed vision, restored hope, and deeper trust in Christ. Truly, we may not know every detail the coming year holds, but we know and are in relationship with the One who holds it. That is our confidence. As midnight approaches, we shouldn’t just carry forward resolutions and requests; most importantly, we should carry the presence of God with us. Trust that He who brought you through every high and low of this year will lead you victoriously into the next. Go forward with courage. The best is yet to come.

Ọjọ ti o kẹhin nínú ọdun, kii ṣe ọjọ́ tí o pari lasan; o tun jẹ wí wọlé sínú ọjọ ́ títún. Àkókò láti bojú wẹ̀yìn pẹ̀lú ọgbọ́n kí a sì fi ìgbàgbọ́ wo iwájú. Jóòbù 8:7 rán wa létí pé Ọlọ́run jẹ́ Ọlọ́run isọdipupọ, ìdàgbàsókè, àti ìlọsíwájú. Bi ọdun naa tilẹ bẹrẹ pẹlu awọn aidaniloju, adanu, tabi ibẹrẹ pẹ̀lú irẹlẹ. Ọlọrun ṣeleri ọjọ iwaju ti o kun fun ipinnu ati àṣeyọrí ninu Rẹ. Ki kọjá lọ sinu ọdun titun kii ṣe iyípadà ninu awọn ọjọ nikan; ó jẹ́ ànfàní láti tẹ̀ síwájú sínú Ìran títúntun, ìrètí tí a mú padàbọ̀sípò, àti ìgbẹ́kẹ̀lé tí ó jinlẹ̀ nínú Krístì. Lootọ, a le má mọ gbogbo awọn akọsilẹ ti ọdun ti n bọ, ṣugbọn a mọ pe a wa ni ìbáṣèpọ pẹ̀lú ẹni ti o di ọdún náà mú. Èyí ni igbẹkẹle wa. Bi ọganjọ òru sínú ọdún titun ti n sunmọ, ko yẹ ki a gbe awọn ipinnu ati awọn ibeere nikan síwájú wa; pataki julọ, ni pé ki a gbe ìwà láàyè Ọlọrun pẹlu wa. Ni igbẹkẹle pe Ẹniti o mu wa la gbogbo wàhálà ti ọdun yi kọjá, yio mu wa wọ inú ọdún pẹ̀lú iṣẹgun . Tẹsiwaju pẹlu igboya. Ohun ti o dara jùlọ mbọ̀ fún ọ ní ọjọ́ ọ̀la.
