“And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.” — Luke 22:40 KJV
Temptation is part of life. Jesus Himself faced it in the wilderness after fasting. At
His weakest moment, the devil tempted Him, but He responded each time with the Word of God. We can’ t overcome temptation in our strength but through God’s Word. Hiding Scripture in our hearts equips us with divine weapons to resist and stand firm when trials come.
BIBLE READINGS: Matthew 4:1–11
PRAYER: Lord, help me to store up Your Word in my heart and use it to overcome every temptation. Amen.
