“There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.” — Proverbs 12:18 KJV
Words can wound, but they can also heal. A reckless tongue pierces like a sword, but wise speech brings life and healing. As followers of Christ, our words must reflect His love. Speaking life means encouraging, building up, and showing compassion in our speech. Even correction can be given with grace and truth. God wants our words to heal, not harm.
BIBLE READINGS: James 3:1–12
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for the gift of speech. Help me to speak wisely and use my words to bring healing. Amen.
