PERSECUTION IS PART OF THE JOURNEY

PERSECUTION IS PART OF THE JOURNEY
THE SEED
“…rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.” — Acts 5:41 KJV
Modern Christianity often overlooks persecution, but Jesus already told us that suffering for His name is part of the believer’s journey. The apostles rejoiced in it, knowing it connected them to Christ’s own suffering. Persecution is not meant to break us but to prove and strengthen our faith. It’s a privilege to stand with Christ in trials, knowing heaven keeps record of every tear and every stand of faith. God never abandons His own. Persecution is not a sign of God’s abandonment but a mark of genuine discipleship. Endure hardship with joy, for your reward is great in heaven.
BIBLE READINGS: Mark 10:28–30; Acts 5:27–42
PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to stand firm in faith in the face of persecution. Amen.
