THE PRICE OF DISCIPLESHIP
THE SEED
“If you want to be my disciple, you must hate everyone else by comparison… yes, even your own life. Otherwise, you cannot be my disciple.” — Luke 14:26 NLT
Following Jesus requires absolute commitment. He must come before family, friends, and even personal desires. This level of discipleship may create discomfort, but it’s the price of walking in His will. True discipleship is a daily surrender. It means choosing His voice above the world’s noise and His will above personal comfort. Though the cost is real, the reward—eternal life with Him—far outweighs the sacrifice. Carrying your cross daily means choosing Jesus above everything else. True discipleship has a cost—but the reward is eternal.
BIBLE READINGS: Luke 14:25–33 PRAYER: Lord, give me the boldness to
follow You wholeheartedly, no matter the cost. Amen.
