BE STILL AND KNOW

THE SEED

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” – Psalm 46:10 (NKJV)

In seasons of uncertainty, the natural tendency is to worry, plan, or try to fix everything ourselves. But God calls us to be still—not in fear, but in trust. Stillness is not inactivity; it is the calm assurance that God is in control. It is the posture of surrender that allows Him to move on our behalf. When the Israelites were trapped between the Red Sea and Pharaoh’s army, Moses said, “Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.” You don’t have to strive to make things happen. God already has a plan. In stillness, your faith grows and His name is glorified.

BIBLE READINGS: Psalm 46:1–11 (KJV)

PRAYER: Lord, teach me to be still and trust You completely, even when I can’t see the way forward. Amen.
