“…and if it does evil in my sight, not listening to my voice, then I will relent of the good that I had intended to do to it.” – Jeremiah 18:10 (ESV)
Disobedience has consequences. God warned Israel through Prophet Jeremiah that He would withhold His blessings if they continued in rebellion. This was not an empty threat; it happened to Saul who lost his throne and to Eli’s lineage which lost the priesthood because of disobedience.
When we walk contrary to God’s Word, we risk losing blessings meant for us. But repentance can bring restoration. It is never too late to turn back. Choose to walk in obedience today, and preserve the inheritance God has prepared for you.
BIBLE READINGS: 1 Samuel 13:8–14 (KJV)
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, help me not to lose Your blessings through disobedience. Teach me to walk in obedience to Your voice. Amen.
