FRIENDSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT
THE SEED
“I no longer call you servants… Instead, I have called you friends.” — John 15:15 (NIV)
True friendship rests on trust, time, and honest conversation. In the same way, friendship with the Holy Spirit grows as we set time apart for Him, speak with Him about everything, and learn to recognise His gentle promptings. He is a Person our Advocate, Comforter, and Teacher—who longs to walk closely with us daily. As we welcome Him, He reshapes our hearts to love like Jesus, grants wisdom beyond our natural ability, and becomes the closest companion of our souls. No human friend can do what the Holy Spirit does—He indwells, empowers, and guides into all truth. Friendship with Him is not abstract; it is practical, personal, and precious. Like a car cannot run without an engine, we cannot fulfil God’s purpose without the Spirit’s fellowship. Speak to Him, listen for His voice, and respond quickly. Friendship deepens through consistency and obedience.
