LEADERSHIP THAT SERVES
THE SEED
“Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them… But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister.” — Matthew 20:25–26 (KJV)
In God’s kingdom, greatness is measured in towels, not titles. Authority is stewardship, not superiority. Leaders are called to serve, protect, and build up the flock, remembering they will give account to the Chief Shepherd.
Pride and power games ruin ministries and scatter sheep. Saul’s story warns us: seeking human approval over divine obedience forfeits destiny. But Christ, our model, stooped to wash feet and to lay down His life—this is leadership in the shape of the cross. Let every leader be an example in word, conduct, love, faith, and purity. Influence anchored in humility will always outlast authority claimed by force.
