THE GOOD SHEEP FOLLOWS THE SHEPHERD
THE SEED
“I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” — John 10:11 (KJV)
Jesus is the Good Shepherd. He feeds, leads, guides, and protects His sheep with unfailing love. But for His care to be complete, the sheep must also play their part: to listen, trust, and obey His voice. A sheep that ignores the shepherd’s voice exposes itself to the wolves that wait to steal, kill, and destroy. In our walk with God, partnership matters. He leads, but we must follow. He instructs, but we must obey. When we stay close to the Shepherd, we are kept safe, well-fed, and protected from danger. Choose to be a good sheep—quick to hear and obey. Let your ears be tuned to the Shepherd’s voice daily, and your heart remain yielded to His will.
Reflection: Safety and provision are found in following the Shepherd.
