HOPE BEYOND THE GRAVE

HOPE BEYOND THE GRAVE

THE SEED

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.”  1 Thessalonians 4:13 (KJV)

The death of a loved one brings pain that words often cannot express. For many, it feels like a final goodbye. But the resurrection of Jesus changed the story of death forever — it is no longer the end for those who believe. Paul reminded the Thessalonian church that death for believers is only sleep. Those who died in Christ will rise again when He returns in glory. This truth turns sorrow into hope and pain into strength. Beloved, let the assurance of eternal life comfort your heart. We may cry, but we do not mourn like those without hope. Our future with Christ is certain and everlasting.

Reflection: For those in Christ, death is not the end but a new beginning.
