Build Your Faith And Your Light Will Shine

BUILD YOUR FAITH AND YOUR LIGHT WILL SHINE
THE SEED
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and a sound mind” 2 Timothy 1:7
Ten out of the twelve of men Moses sent to spy the land returned with reports that
demoralised the people and caused great commotion among them.
As a result, most of them were denied the opportunity to make it to the promise land.
The force that motivated the action was the force of fear that birthed unbelief.
Fear becomes so powerful if allowed to operate within one’s life, that it will make unreal
situations become real. The Promise land symbolises a glorious future. Invariably fear can stop someone from accessing his/her glorious future.
So, by faith, which is the opposite of fear, one can access his/her glorious future. While
the trained soldiers were hiding because of the threat of Goliath, David confronted him with
faith in God and prevailed.
This gives us a clear assurance that if we confront our challenges with faith in God, we
will surely overcome them. One force that can make our light not shine at all or enough is the
force of fear.
PRAYER
O Lord, increase my faith in Jesus name Amen.
