The Spirit Of God Makes The Difference

THE SEED

“Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” Genesis 1:2 NIV

In creation, the earth was formless and void. Darkness was upon the surface of the water. For God to bring life and beauty out of the earth, God’s Spirit had to be released to hover upon the unformed earth, to bless it and make it suitable to receive the divine commands that make the earth a habitable place. It’s the presence of God’s Spirit in believers’ life that receives the command of God and turn unfavourable situations around to become great testimony. Until Apostle Paul received the visit of the Holy Spirit on his way to kill the disciples of
Jesus, he could not see that he was working against God instead of working for Him. The Holy Spirit had to arrest his evil thoughts and lock them up in total darkness, replaced them with the light of Christ before he could understand that he was not with God all along. As a child of God, we need the Holy Spirit to reside in our lives to experience the permanent supernatural works of God.

PRAYER

Lord, let my life be seeded with the Holy Spirit so that I can continue to experience the fulfilment of Your promises in Jesus’ name. Amen
