Proclaiming The Lord’s Goodness

THE SEED

“Jerusalem, go up on a high mountain and proclaim the good news! Call out with a loud voice, Zion; announce the good news! Speak out and do not be afraid. Tell the towns of Judah that their God is coming!” Isaiah 40:9 GNT

True believers are God’s Jerusalem, the Holy City, rescued with the blood of Jesus and founded on the rock of ages. We have been given only one divine assignment, proclaiming the name of our God and Saviour. We need not be timid about this assignment because we’ve been given the power and sound mind to proclaim the salvation and goodness of Christ to all people. If we have not been faithful in this assignment, it’s high time to repent and speak out with confidence, share your experience of redemption and victory to as many who care to listen. Let your behaviour and character voice it out to people that see you in a distance and close by. Prophecies of an end time are coming to pass in rapid successions; wars, and famine, pestilence in the lands, love of God is dwindling in the hearts of men. We have the generation of young people that are full of disobedience, love of life and wise in their own eyes. For it to be said concerning us that we have done our part, let’s buckle up and be filled with the spirit of evangelism and proclaim the good news to as many that the Holy Spirit will lead us to.

PRAYER Lord, I receive your breath with faith, fill me with the confidence to proclaim the good news in Jesus’ Name. Amen
