Unbroken Covenant

“Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations” Deuteronomy 7:9

According to the first verse, we should be aware that God is a dependable being who keeps His word, is merciful to those who seek Him, and whose commands endure for a thousand generations. A covenant is a blood-sealed agreement between two different spiritual beings in which the higher being makes promises to the lower entity and the lower being is required to fulfill those promises. The Bible contains a number of covenants, including the Adamic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, and others. With the evocation of a deity, agreements between inferior beings might also be made. The agreement between David and Jonathan is one illustration (1 Samuel 20:16). It assumes that some of God’s offspring are ignorant of God in great detail. The extent of your relationship with God and the blessings you will experience depend on how well you understand Him. How well do you know the omnipotent God? Which pact have you made with Him? Christians in the New Testament have a covenant with Jesus Christ that is sealed by his blood; as a result, He will not abandon us.

PRAYER
Lord God, uphold me with your right hand. Let not your death be in vain in my life.
