The Second Coming

THE SEED
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Hebrews 9:28

It is only a matter of time till the End, which is predicted, as we have passed the tipping point. As Christians, we have faith in the impending, personal return of Jesus Christ. It is a topic that is prevalent in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. The number of Old Testament predictions about His second coming is greater than those about His first coming. Without a doubt, God intended for this topic to be at the forefront of the Gospel message. He wanted it there because, while the return of Christ is a blessed hope for those who have trusted Him as Lord and Savior, it also serves as a warning that the time is drawing near when those who are still without faith will no longer have the chance to be saved. You must be prepared for His return as a Christian, and you can be, my dear. Today, he is knocking on the door of your heart. If you repent from sin and put your faith in Him right now, He will provide a space exclusively for you. Do you have a heavenly palace reservation? It would be wise to think about your future home today and to gaze far beyond the horizon. Surprisingly, having a home in heaven inspires people to live right here on earth, to remember the grace that saved them, and to share their faith with their friends and neighbors. Things are so much nicer at the home on this side when you have a home on the other side. It’s a wonderful hope!

PRAYER
Oh Lord, cast me not away, let my sins be washed away.
