THE SEED
“Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Everything is meaningless!” Ecclesiastes 12:8 NIV
A life without Christ is meaningless, a plan without God is futile, marriage without Christ is chaotic, children that are not taught to know God and trained in His way don’t bring lasting joy, and ill-gotten wealth is the instrument of destruction of the owner. A spouse outside of the will of God is a great mistake, the beauty that is not used to glorify God is nothing, and worldly acquisitions gathered with selfish motives are worthless. Hmmm, all of the above and many more are the activities of people in the world, whether you are a believer or not, it doesn’t matter. We all have the desire to have or possess all of the above. And the beautiful thing is that they are good and God wants us to have them He intends them for us but they only become legitimate and acceptable when sorted out in the will of God and according to His divine plans and not outside of His plan. Anything gotten outside of God’s plan and not used for His glory is meaningless as established by the preacher in the book of Ecclesiastes. As believers, we have to acknowledge God in our totality and glorify Him in everything to live a meaningful life. Okay.
PRAYER
Father lead me with your Spirit to help me to live a meaningful life that glorifies you in my all. Amen
