THE SEED
“For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant, And as a root out of the dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; and when we see Him, there is no beauty that we should desire Him.” Isaiah 53: 2 NKJV
One reason why we tend to ‘miss’ it with God and go astray is that many times, we are walking in life with a picture of who we imagine God to be, not who He is. The Bible describes everything we need to know about God. But if you were a Jew expecting the coming Messiah, and you thought Jesus would have to be a physically imposing man; tall, handsome, well-spoken, from a rich home, etc. You would have missed Him. Is the picture of God in your mind in line with the Word of God? Check it now as you go along in life.
