Would You Recognise His Voice?

THE SEED
“So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.”.” Ex. 3: 4 NKJV

God in His awesomeness can catch our attention by using anything He has created. God needed to catch Moses’ attention. So He used a burning bush that was not consumed by its fire. What an amazing sight! Moses chose to investigate. What if he didn’t ‘turn aside’? God would have had to get his attention some other way. My brother, my sister, God is trying to get your attention? Can you recognise His voice? Or does He have to do something spectacular to get you to turn to Him? Like He did to Saul on his way to destroy the people of God. God used lightning and blindness to get his attention to listen to Him. Has God been saying something that you are not listening to or hearing? Do you recognise His voice, no matter the vessel?

PRAYER: Heavenly Father help me to recognise the sound of Your voice, no matter who or what You are using to speak to me, in Jesus’ name Amen.
