God in His plan for our lives has put people like Mordechai in our lives to teach, rebuke, advise, correct and encourage us as we find our path to fulfilling destiny. Mind you, your Modechai is not a perfect human being, they also have their failings and struggles in life but God has put them in your life to fulfil His plan for you. They might offend you in their attempt to play their role in your life, don’t cut ties with them because of that, rather sit down with them to make your displeasure known and settle things. In the life of Esther, Mordechai played a prominent role in her becoming a queen. If Esther had been a disobedient and rude child, Mordechai would have found it difficult to present her in the contest that made her the Queen of Shusan. Esther listens to good and godly advice from him, and even when she eventually became a Queen, she still valued and respected their relationship. Fighting and disobeying people like Mordechai in your life is like telling God that you are wise enough to live your life because God will always use people to assist us to reach our goals in life.
