The Promise Of God

THE SEED
“He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform”. Romans 4:20-21.

We can ask for something from people or someone and they promise to give us sometimes later and they can even give us a particular day to come and get it. They may change their mind or give us an alternative. Sometimes parents are not able to buy that dress that they promised their children but God does always keep His promise. God is not a man that He should lie or a son of man that He should repent. If He had promised you anything, He will surely bring it to pass (Numbers 23:19). A promise from God is not what you doubt or debate on, but you continue to hope upon hope that the promise of God will be fulfilled in your life. You should not doubt the capability of God on what He promises to do. He is God. God promised Abraham and Sarah a son, even at their old age, they believed it and it eventually came to pass despite all the challenges that they faced. Genesis 18:13-14. No matter what the world, enemies and the devil are saying, keep your gaze on God that made the promise, He is able to accomplish whatever He said concerning you and your household. What seems hard to us is nothing to the Creator of the whole universe. Put your trust in God that made the Promise.

BIBLE READING: Acts 13:23-24

PRAYER: Oh Lord give me the courage and confidence to believe that all your promises for my life will come to pass in Jesus name, Amen.
