The Friday Is Good

THE SEED
“Jesus said to her,”I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live” John 11:25

Easter is celebrated worldwide in Christendom. Yet, some may not know that it is all about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, after his crucifixion on the cross of Calvary about 30 AD. Jesus Christ the son of God, talked about His death right before it happened. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Matthew 12:40. It was not a palatable experience for our Lord Jesus Christ but He had to do it. He was not forced to lay down His life for the salvation and deliverance of human race. He went through excruciating pain and agony. He was beaten for our sins and the chastisement of our transgression was upon Him. He paid the price in full. It was a bad day for the devil but it was a good Friday for mankind!
