Salvation In Jesus

THE SEED
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Salvation is saving human beings from sin and it’s consequences which include death and separation from God. It is important we understand and are able to express why being a follower of Christ is unique in this secular world of today. As Christians, we are not struggling toward God, but God reaching down to us through Jesus. There is an open offer of forgiveness when we accept Jesus. He gives us new life, He rescues us and saves us from the punishment of our Sins. We are not saved by our works, we are not saved by anything we do. Of the great religious leaders of the world, Christ alone claims deity. While other religious leaders emphasise their teachings on the DO’s and DON’T of physical and spiritual laws, it is not so with Jesus. He made himself the focal point of His teaching. The common factor in these religions is that their salvation depends on their own individual efforts of working to gain merit, without assurance of salvation. With Christianity, when we trust in Jesus we are given an assurance of salvation based on what Jesus has done, not on what we need to do. We shall also have eternal home in heaven, a sinless body and eternity with Christ.
