Living In Alignment

THE SEED
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will” Romans 12:2

You may hold a position in the church, or you may be able to quote the whole scriptures from the top of your head and know all the latest gospel songs— and still may not be flowing in the will of God. Saul of Tarsus thought he was doing the will of God by defending the law of the Lord and persecuting Christians, but his passion was not in alignment with God’s will. Until he had an encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus, that he repented of his ignorance and became the Apostle Paul we know today. (Acts 9: 3-9). Is your service in alignment with God’s will? Is your lifestyle in alignment? Is your relationship in alignment? In everything you do, make sure you know God’s agenda and then submit to it. You either walk God’s way or go on your own way. Remember Jonah who refused to go the way of the Lord, and suffered until he saw the mercies of God. We show ourselves as true disciples of God when His will is our will.

BIBLE READING: Jonah 1: 1-13

PRAYER: Lord, I am recommitting myself to you today that your way be my way, and your will my will in Jesus name. Amen
