THE SEED
“It is of the LORD’S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.” Lamentations 3:22
We need to share the good news of God’s Mercy with the guilty, convicted, desperate lives that have only heard judgment, wrath, and condemnation. That is our good news. It’s not a mystery to the Lord that you are tired in your waiting. It’s not a mystery to Him that you are tired in your darkness and in your struggle with life’s battle. But He is with you. He is keeping you and looking after you. When you hear God is compassionate and merciful, sometimes it doesn’t resonate. For you to experience that the Lord is compassionate and merciful, like Job, you must go through the waiting period and only through this experience of waiting, could Job come to see God for who He is – that He is a God who is compassionate and merciful.
