THE SEED
“For in Christ Jesus, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith, working through love”. Galatians 5:6
In the Bible, circumcision of the heart is a metaphor that refers to setting one’s heart apart to serve God and follow His ways. It implies humility, faith, hope and charity. It is a radical change, an inner transformation, in which, by faith, we receive humility, faith, hope and love. A circumcised heart is the type of heart that has been set apart for a reason to work for God and do things of God with a ready and open heart. It is when our heart is set apart that we can produce humility, faith, hope and charity.
An uncircumcised Heart, that is, a heart that is not set apart for Christ can not produce these good fruits. 2 Timothy 2:19 talks about vessels. As there are vessels unto honour, so there are also vessels unto dishonour. This verse makes us understand that until a man’s heart is set apart, purged, purified and circumcised, the vessel cannot be useful. This vessel refers to our heart. It is until our heart is sanctified that it can be set for the use of the Master, that is, useful for the work of God. It is therefore important for our hearts to be circumcised, as this will prepare us for the work of God, consecrate, purge, and sanctify us to be able to carry out the work of God in an acceptable way, not with a heart entangled with different iniquities. True circumcision is a matter of the heart performed by the spirit of God. Is your heart circumcised and made ready for the work of your Father in heaven? How pure enough are you for the service of God? Is it by mere word of mouth or by eye service? Know it today that whatever you sow is the same you will reap. Purify your heart for the Kingdom work and await your heavenly reward with Christ.

Eyi yíò sọ eniyan naa di mimọ, di ọtún àti yiya sọtọ lati le ṣe iṣẹ Ọlọrun ni ọna itẹwọgba, kii ṣe pẹlu ọkan ti o darapọ pẹlu awọn aiṣedede oriṣiriṣi. Ikọla tootọ jẹ ọkan ti ẹmi Ọlọrun ndari rẹ̀. Nje a kọ ọkàn yín ní ilà, tí a sì ti múra rẹ̀ sílẹ̀ de iṣẹ́ Baba yín tí ń bẹ ní ọ̀run bi? Bawo ni o ṣe jẹ mimọ to fun iṣẹ-isin Ọlọrun? Ṣe nipasẹ ọ̀rọ̀ ẹnu lásán ni, tàbí nípa ṣíṣe- ká- rí- mi? Mọ loni pe ohunkohun ti o ba funrugbin ni iwọ yoo ká. Sọ ọkàn rẹ di mimo fun iṣẹ́ Ìjọba Ọ̀run, ki o si duro de èrè ọ̀run rẹ pẹ̀lú Kristi.
