A MODEL CHRISTIAN HOME

A MODEL CHRISTIAN HOME

THE SEED

“Through wisdom, a house is built, And by understanding it is established; By knowledge, the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches.” Proverbs 24:3-4 NKJV

A Christian home is an institution where parents and their children are bound together by Christian love and values. It is a place where their children are happy and spiritually instructed. A home where parents and children gather daily for family devotion. Unfortunately, some parents find it difficult to gather their household for family devotion or worship. Home, where Jesus is the head, will experience rest of mind, good health, good relationship, prosperity, and easy communication, everything will work out easily, and joy and love will flow and even overflow. Where the Spirit of God is, there is no confusion or struggle. The father is the head of the family; therefore he is to love and take care of the wife and children and the wife is to love and respect the husband. Both are to bring up the children in the fear of the Lord; they are to be faithful to themselves and do everything together, there should not be any secrets between them.  To build a Godly home, parents are expected to train their children in a lovely and spiritual way. Parents should introduce Jesus to their children, help them pursue their Godly goals and career. God has packaged each child with different temperament, talents, thereby showing them the right path. Let us desire to make our home all about Him (Jesus). Building our home and family on anything else is a total waste of time.

BIBLE READING: Psalms 127:5 NKJV

PRAYER: Heavenly Father,  help us to build our home according to your desire. Amen.
