THE SEED
“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26
God is angry with man’s heart; he has a hatred for man’s depraved nature, and he will have it taken away, he will have it totally cleansed before he admits that man into any communion with Himself and above all, into the sweet communion of heaven. There is, therefore, a demand for a new nature, and we must have it, otherwise we can never see the face of God. The promise in the opening scripture was fulfilled by our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. On the cross he declared, “It is finished”, John 19:30. When a person receives Jesus as his Lord and Saviour, he is given a new heart and a new spirit. His stony heart is replaced with a heart of flesh. This is a total transformation called being born again; the spirit of the person is reborn and this gives a person an obedient heart to understand and obey the Words of God. The Holy Spirit who is the seal of salvation is also given to the person who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ. Dearly beloved, as Christians, we should aim at always appreciating God and striving to please Him. He also has the best chance to succeed in life, since he has God as his Father, who will direct him along the path of success.

Lori agbelebu o kede pe, “O ti pari”, Johannu 19:30. Nigbati eniyan ba gba Jesu gẹgẹbi Oluwa ati Olugbala rẹ, a fun ni ọkan titun ati ẹmi titun. Ọkàn re olókùúta ni a fi ọkàn tutu ropò re. Eyi jẹ iyipada lapapọ ti a npe ni atunbi; emí ènìyàn tún máa ń di atunbi, èyí sì ń fún ènìyàn ní ọkàn ìgbọràn láti lóye àti láti ṣègbọràn sí oro Ọlorun. Emí mímo tí ó je èdìdì ìgbàlà ni a tún fi fún ẹni tí ó gba Jesu Kristi Oluwa gbo. Eyin olùfe owon, gege bí Kristẹni, a gbodo máa lépa láti máa dúpe lowo Ọlorun nígbà gbogbo ká sì máa sapá láti múnú Re dùn. Ó tún ní àǹfààní tó dára jù lọ láti ṣàṣeyọrí nínú ìgbésí ayé re, níwon bí ó ti ní Ọlorun gege bí Baba re, ẹni tí yóò darí re sí onà àṣeyọrí.
